After buying wood from a sustainable forest products company, building items out of wood involves completely neutral carbon activities and once your creation has had better days, use it to keep your place warm! You are also preventing a lot of pollution from occurring due to transportation and management of the item you build yourself.

Health

Plastics contain estrogens and other nasty chemicals even before we deal with its disposal. On the other hand, wood is completely natural and is completely biodegradable. What can be more healthy for your family! There is also no concerns about lead or product recalls due to a bad batch. Keep in mind that we use Eurolite Plywood for most of our products, you can read about this product under the Corporate heading.

Pride

Whether you see your child enjoy playing with a toy you built or a partner using one of your creations in everyday life, you will beam “I made that” each and every time. Anybody can buy these items, but creating it using your own hands and time turns these into true Wood Marvels in your eyes!

How do I seal the burned edges of your laser cut kits?

As all our laser cut kits are cut by laser, they leave burned edges which may need a little cleaning-up. The easiest thing to do is to scrape any loose pieces of soot with a vacuum cleaner or damp cloths followed by a clear application of epoxy, laquer or varnish. You can apply these to the entire model if you wish.

Personal Production Licenses Explained

You can now buy plans directly from WoodMarvels.com and get cutting within a few minutes of your purchase as the files are available digitally via download upon payment. Just to clarify, personal production license means you cannot sell the plans, dxf, pdf, eps nor the wooden pieces (physical laser cut kits) in any way. This is strictly for the guy or gal in their workshop cutting something for their own personal pleasure and giving it to their family or a friend etc.

They are optimized for use by a laser cutter and router. If you have other board thicknesses available, contact us and we can make optimized files to match it.

Personal Production License

The item(s) within this WoodMarvels.com files are non-transferable meaning you cannot give these files to another person or company to cut these files on your behalf. The files cannot be resold nor distributed by any means using any methods. These files are strictly for personal use only. No commercial production in any quantity, no matter how small or intended purpose, is allowed without direct written permission by WoodMarvels.com.

For each and every copy of the model that you cut using YOUR tool(s), you must buy a license from WoodMarvels.com, even if they are to be given as a present. So if your child wants two Medieval Castles, then you need to buy the EPS/DXF/PDF file twice. Of course, if you already purchased the book, you are granted one production license for each design in it by default.

You are not allowed to remove the WoodMarvels.com logo or otherwise modify the file. You must purchase a license before cutting, not after you have cut more than one copy of the model.

Be sure to at least perform a dry run of the model. By using these files, you are releasing WoodMarvels.com or any of its affiliates, companies, distributors, or staff, of any damages, liabilities or litigations of any kind, directly or indirectly, that may arise by any manner. How much is technical support?

Free! If you have problems with assembly, just send us an e-mail and take a few pictures. All our models come with step-by-step instructions so short of a defective or mis-cut piece (which we will send to you at no cost), you can buy with confidence that what you bought can be easily assembled using minimal tools. Please note that if specific items are required, they will be listed in the product page.
