You are also preventing a lot of pollution from occurring due to transportation and management of the item you build yourself.

Health

Plastics contain estrogens and other nasty chemicals even before we deal with its disposal. On the other hand, wood is completely natural and is completely biodegradable. What can be more healthy for your family! There is also no concerns about lead or product recalls due to a bad batch. Keep in mind that we use Eurolite Plywood for most of our products, you can read about this product under the Corporate heading.

How do I seal the burned edges of your laser cut kits?

As all our laser cut kits are cut by laser, they leave burned edges which may need a little cleaning-up. The easiest thing to do is to scrape any loose pieces of soot with a vacuum cleaner or damp cloths followed by a clear application of epoxy, laquer or varnish. You can apply these to the entire model if you wish.

EPS File Licenses Explained

There are a lot of people out there with laser cutters, buying blueprints and rescaling to match the thickness of the wood you plan on using then optimizing it to fit it with as little wasted product at the end of the day can take the better part of a day. No more, you can now buy them directly from WoodMarvels.com and get cutting within a few minutes of your purchase as the files are available digitally via download.

They are optimized for use by a laser cutter meaning if you have a router, contact us for a version to be cut using this otherwise what will be cut will be a mess due to different tolerances. If you have other board thicknesses available, contact us and we can make optimized files to match it. The license states the following

EPS LASER CUTTING LICENSE

The items within this WoodMarvels.com zip file are non-transferable. You cannot give these files to another person or company to cut these files on your behalf.

For each and every copy of the model that you cut using YOUR laser cutter(s), you must buy a license from our site. This gives you the right to resell the finished kit as well as long as you don't remove the WoodMarvels.com logo or otherwise modify the file. You must purchase a license before cutting, not after the sale.

Be sure to at least perform a dry run of the model after it has been cut to assure everything works properly before making a run of several thousand. By using this model, you are releasing WoodMarvels.com or any of its affiliates, companies, distributors, or staff, of any damages, liabilities or litigations of any kind, directly or indirectly, that may arise by any manner.

Free! If you have problems with assembly, just send us an e-mail and take a few pictures. All our models come with step-by-step instructions so short of a defective or mis-cut piece (which we will send to you at no cost), you can buy with confidence that what you bought can be easily assembled using minimal tools. Please note that if specific items are required, they will be listed in the product page.
